Mission

Welcome to the Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit. We are a congregation that spans generations, and we are committed to growing in our relationship with God and with one another. We are a welcoming, fully inclusive community. We share a commitment to serve as disciples of Jesus Christ in the world and to be a healing presence in north Clark County and beyond.

Holy Spirit is a church that lives with a high value of hospitality.  We truly enjoy meeting and sharing with new folk. Our mission is to reveal the love of Jesus Christ by doing God’s work.  We accomplish this through our various outreach activities in the north Clark County area, but do not limit ourselves. As examples we consistently donate to the North County Community Food Bank, have shared with the Seafarers ministry and have help with the Free Clinic. Additionally we have donated to the “Battle Buddies” program of providing dogs for service people. We have aided the Village of Galena, Alaska, which was destroyed by a Yukon River flood in 2012. We continue to attempt new ministries and look for other prayer and hand’s-on ways of helping those in need.

We are a multi-generational community welcoming all who enter, growing and learning in our spiritual life, serving and caring for one another and sharing our gifts with the world around us. We welcome you and hope you will join us in following in the Jesus way of love and justice for one another.
